Varsity Head Dance Coach

 

Requires Teacher and/or coach who holds a Nebraska Department of Education Teacher or Administrative Certificate or a Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Coaching Permit.

 

Lincoln North Star High School is seeking a varsity head coach to provide qualified leadership for the Dance Team. Good communication and organizational skills are required as well as the ability to develop positive, productive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and the community.  Must be able to provide quality instruction of fundamental skills as well as have a comprehensive knowledge of the sport of Dance.  The successful candidate must have the ability to lead and enhance the ongoing development, improvement, and participation in the program.  Be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the inventory and equipment; reporting contest results; and must know, implement, and enforce national, state, and local athletic policies.

 

This position is subject to a veterans preference.
