10760 – Senior Accountant II
Location – Fountain Valley, CA (5-day onsite)

ABOUT US

Hyundai AutoEver America (HAEA), a subsidiary of Hyundai and Kia Motor Companies, provides premier IT services across North America. We are seeking Senior Accountant to join our team for a 5-days a week on-site role in our Fountain Valley, CA corporate office.

What will you be doing?
As a Senior Accountant II, you will be involved in a variety of responsibilities of accounting operations and reporting functions and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain General Ledger Integrity: Oversee chart of accounts, reconcile sub-ledgers, and ensure accurate journal entries and automated interfaces.
  • Manage AP/AR and Close Processes: Handle full-cycle accounts payable/receivable and support month-end/year-end close including accruals.
  • Ensure Compliance and Reporting: Assist with audits, tax filings (income, property, sales/use, 1099s), and government surveys.
  • Support Technical Accounting Standards: Contribute to lease accounting (ASC 842) and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
  • Implement Internal Controls: Maintain documentation and effectiveness of ICFR under Korean SOX; assist with ad-hoc reports and cross-functional projects.
Basic Qualifications
 
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5–7 years in finance-related roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting procedures, US GAAP/IFRS (ASC 606 & ASC 842), financial statement preparation and analysis, advanced MS Office skills, and SAP GUI experience.
  • Professional Skills: Self-starter with excellent planning and execution abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills: bi-lingual in Korean candidates are a plus.

Salary Range - $83,940 - $120,032
