Job Description

The Business Development Manager- Convenience, University and Hospital is a high-profile position within the organization, with the responsibility of proactively seeking new item and category placement throughout new and existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide a consistent high level of service while maintaining/ exceeding the profitability targets of each account. 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis

·       Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in accounts

·       Participates in a joint strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for sustainable growth

·       Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel

·       Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

·       Manage all facets of the day to day account responsibilities

·       Manage the broker network by utilizing budgets and expectations

·       Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

Position Requirements:

·       Bachelor Degree in Business or a related field3 to 5 Years Sales experience in a sales role in the Deli/ Cheese Category

·       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite

·       Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills

·       Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

·       Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

·       Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

·       Proven track record of being a dynamic “Hunter”
