Description

Overall Activities: We currently have an opening for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a PE license in our Malta, NY office serving clients in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, higher education, and research industries in Southern New England. The successful candidate will have experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams, coordinating with sub-consultants, successfully engaging and satisfying clients, and be excited by the opportunity to expand and grow our business. Compensation based upon level of experience. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

• BSEE and 8+ years of experience.
• Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
• A Professional Engineering License preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and other design tools such as Visual and Elum.
• Expertise with the National Electric Code and applicable building codes relating to building electrical systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with fire alarm systems and classified areas preferred.

Summary

Some travel - mostly day trips, occasionally overnight (10-20%).

A pre-employment drug screening and background check are required.
