- Significant industry experience in auto body/collision repair.
- Ability to teach automotive repair techniques including structural repair, refinishing, dent repair, and estimating.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with high school students in a hands-on learning environment.
- Willingness to obtain or hold appropriate state CTE teaching certification. Certification assistance and professional development are provided.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience.
- ASE or other relevant industry certifications.

BRCOT seeks a knowledgeable and industry-experienced Auto Body Instructor to teach high school students the skills necessary for careers in collision repair and automotive refinishing. The instructor will provide hands-on and classroom instruction aligned with industry standards while preparing students for postsecondary education, apprenticeships, and entry-level employment in the automotive repair field.
This position involves teaching technical skills, assessing student learning, maintaining student records, and communicating regularly with families and school staff to support student success.
