Grace Church is seeking a new Worship Pastor to serve across its Northeast Ohio campuses.
Position Type: Full-time | Salaried Exempt
Position Purpose:
The Worship Pastor will lead the congregation in worship and shepherd the worship volunteers and creatives of the Grace Family.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the Grace Church community in worship that exalts Jesus.
- Shepherd and guide the worship ministry volunteers.
- Foster creativity within our worship teams and creative wings of each ministry at Grace Church.
- Oversee the creative/communications department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning out and praying through each service order with the greater worship ministry staff and Lead Pastor.
- Lead worship approximately 2-3x per month between our campuses.
- Lead the volunteers in the worship ministry, both musically and spiritually.
- Oversee the leaders of the communications staff team, mobilizing them in creative content for the Grace Family.
- Build songwriting teams that meet monthly.
- Oversee all worship experiences for staff gatherings.
- Audition vocal and band members and engage in volunteer heart checks once a quarter.
Proficiencies Needed:
- At least five years experience leading worship in large spaces.
- Strong vocal proficiency and training required.
- Ability to lead a band well, understanding instrumentation and chord charts.
- Proficiency on guitar or keyboard is preferred.
- Leadership/Management experience.
- Experience in Communications and Creative Arts.
- Bible/Ministry degree is preferred.
- Licensure/Ordination in the Christian & Missionary Alliance, or willingness to pursue.
- Regular Spiritual disciplines and Biblical literacy.
