What You’ll Do
Serve as the communication liaison between line attendants and back-of-house cooks
Monitor buffet line to ensure food is properly stocked, meets temperature guidelines, and remains clean and organized
Maintain presentation standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Relay guest feedback, including compliments and concerns, to management
Train new buffet line attendants on job duties and company standards
Assign work areas and coordinate team member breaks during shifts
Work collaboratively with cooks, dishwashers, servers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations
Assist with carving meats and preparing desserts and salad bar items as needed
Support a clean, efficient, and guest-focused work environment
Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of three months of kitchen or food service experience required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lead, train, and support team members effectively
Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise buffet line attendants on a daily basis
Train, assign, and direct work in accordance with company policies
Address guest and team member concerns and assist in resolving issues
Promote a positive and productive team environment
Physical Requirements
This is an active role requiring continuous standing and movement throughout the shift. Duties include walking, reaching, twisting, balancing, and frequent use of hands and wrist motion.
Ability to lift/move:
Up to 25 lbs regularly
Up to 50 lbs occasionally
Must have strong coordination, dexterity, and vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception) to safely perform job duties.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a fast-paced kitchen and buffet setting
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
Noise levels are typically moderate to loud
Work Schedule
Shifts scheduled based on business needs
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Operation runs 7 days a week
