You will experience these qualities of passion, pride and aspiration in many ways — from a rich set of career development programs to support of community service projects to social events that foster fun and relationship building across our global community.

The Role

AspenTech is a global leader in industrial AI and asset optimization software, enabling innovation in highly complex industrial environments. We are seeking a highly capable SAFe Release Train Specialist (RTE) to lead the execution and continuous improvement of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within our organization. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a servant leader and coach, driving program alignment, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams.
In this pivotal role, you will act as the operational and facilitative backbone of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) ART—ensuring effective coordination, removing impediments, and fostering collaboration across product, engineering, and business functions.
This is a high-impact role at the heart of our Agile transformation. You will directly influence how teams deliver customer value, ensuring strategic alignment, predictability, and flow across large-scale initiatives. If you thrive in complex, fast-moving environments and are passionate about Lean-Agile leadership, this opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting organizational impact.

Your Impact

Program Execution & Facilitation:

  • Lead and facilitate the execution of Agile Release Trains (ARTs), aligning team members across multiple Agile teams.
  • Plan and orchestrate all key SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt sessions.
  • Ensure continuous flow of value by proactively identifying and resolving cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments.

Stakeholder Alignment:

  • Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and Business Owners to align on vision, priorities, and delivery commitments.
  • Promote transparency and data-driven decision-making through effective communication, reporting, and metrics tracking.

Leadership & Coaching:

  • Act as a servant leader to Agile teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners—providing guidance on Lean-Agile principles, practices, and mindsets.
  • Mentor and develop Scrum Masters to strengthen team-level agility and performance.
  • Champion a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and continuous learning across the ART.

Metrics & Performance Management:

  • Establish and monitor ART-level performance metrics including velocity, predictability, and quality.
  • Analyze trends to identify improvement opportunities and drive measurable performance gains.
  • Provide clear visibility into ART progress and outcomes for leadership and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead Inspect & Adapt sessions to identify systemic improvement actions.
  • Promote best practices in DevOps, Lean flow, and Agile governance.
  • Foster innovation by supporting teams in experimenting and adopting new practices that enhance delivery performance.
