The Peter Guo‑hua Fu School of Architecture is seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to support the Turkiye Earthquake Memory Project (TEMP), the project is a collaborative online repository that documents how Türkiye has understood and remembered earthquakes over the past century, offering perspectives beyond official narratives through the lenses of disaster studies, built‑environment history, and memory studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the ongoing development of the Turkiye Earthquake Memory Project (TEMP)

  • Analyze and interpret primary data and produce map‑based visualizations

  • Edit, update, and maintain the project website

  • Assist with the preparation and development of future grant applications

  • Contribute to research organization and documentation as needed

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field

  • Advanced proficiency in Turkish and English

  • Proficiency in GIS and architectural modeling and visualization software

  • Academic training or specialization in one or more of the following areas:

    • Disaster Studies

    • Oral History

    • Earthquakes

    • Post‑Disaster Reconstruction
