Position Overview:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Epic Certified Cadence Analyst to support the design, build, configuration, and optimization of Epic Cadence scheduling functionality. This role will partner closely with operational, clinical, and technical stakeholders to ensure efficient scheduling workflows, improved patient access, and optimized appointment management across the organization.

Location & Work Environment:
This role is primarily remote, with approximately one onsite visit per quarter as needed to support project or operational requirements. Candidates interested in relocating may be eligible for a relocation package. This position is currently structured as hourly with eligibility for overtime; however, it is expected to transition to a full-time salaried role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, and maintain Epic Cadence scheduling functionality
  • Support appointment templates, provider schedules, referral workflows, and access center operations
  • Collaborate with operational leaders and clinical teams to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
  • Troubleshoot scheduling issues and support break/fix resolution in Cadence workflows
  • Participate in Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
  • Support reporting and analytics related to scheduling access and utilization
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards, documentation, and change control processes
  • Assist in training and supporting end users on scheduling workflows and best practices


Requirements

Experience Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of experience as an Epic Analyst with Cadence certification required
  • Strong background in Epic scheduling build, configuration, and workflow optimization
  • Experience supporting large healthcare organizations or multi-site scheduling environments
  • Proven ability to work with operational stakeholders to improve access and scheduling efficiency

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ambulatory scheduling workflows and access management principles
  • Experience with Epic Prelude or Grand Central is a plus
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working in Agile or structured project environments preferred
