About the Role



We are seeking a Structural Engineering Department Manager to lead our structural engineering division. This individual will oversee a team of engineers and designers, providing technical leadership, project management, and client engagement. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who combines deep technical knowledge with strong leadership and business development skills. 



 



Key Responsibilities




  • Lead and manage the structural engineering department, providing technical direction and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

  • Oversee structural design and analysis, with a primary focus on bridges and municipal transportation infrastructure.

  • Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop engineers and designers while managing workloads, schedules, and budgets.

  • Support and oversee structural projects from concept through construction in coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, supporting relationship management and business development efforts.

  • Participate in proposal development, client meetings, and industry events, including occasional non-office hours.
