Position: Youth Mentor, PT CUA 7

Job Type/Hours: PT, 20 hrs. Per week M-F Schedule is based on the program and client needs.

Location: 3133 Ridge Ave Philadelphia, PA 19121 (22nd Police District) North Central, Strawberry Mansion, Brewerytown, Yorktown, Francisville Sharswood and Templetown (Other areas as assigned)

Summary of Position: (Other duties as assigned)

Function as part of the larger CUA team responsible for achieving the target goals of improving safety, permanency, and well-being of children, youth, and families. Conduct weekly meetings with all youth assigned to the Ambassadors Program Pilot and help facilitate the volunteer work of the Ambassadors. Train and mentor youth to serve as members of Community Advisory Board, and to work as youth leaders during other CUA activities. Design, plan and implement workshops, seminars, and other activities for youth participants, as decided by community engagement team. Identify and recruit youth that may be community leaders in CUA region, to serve as participants in

the Ambassadors Program, and other CUA programs.
