Job Description

Key position functions include:

  • Coordinating Sales Order and Production order picking requirements with warehouseman, ensuring orders are accurately picked in a timely manner.
  • Processing sales order outbound deliveries, providing deliveries to the shipping department for scheduling shipment.
  • Working with procurement to pick subcontracting and farmout deliveries as needed. Providing shipping with the necessary paperwork to coordinate deliveries.
  • Ensuring all engraving requirements (i.e. serial tags and calibration heads)
  • Completion of weekly & monthly inspections of engraving machine and other inventory equipment as needed. 
  • Maintaining care and preservation of inventory items, working with QC on non-conforming products.
  • Responsible for preparation of annual physical count and assist with reconciliation where needed
  • Responsible for the cycle counting process and resolution of discrepancies where needed
  • Responsible for review and approval of warehouseman’s incoming and outgoing transactions
  • Ensuring accuracy for all inventory movement
  • Responsible for inventory adjustments and communicating with the manager for approval
  • Train and assist warehouseman as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of material handlers
  • Other duties may be required

Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of effective inventory management practices
  • Previous experience in supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and oral communication abilities
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset
  • A strong commitment to the workplace, health and safety, solid work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
