| This position is responsible for providing general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through the application of evidence based nursing procedures and practices to patients of all ages on assigned nursing unit. This position is also responsible for demonstrating competency in the behavioral, growth, development and psychosocial needs of patients being treated. |

| PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT |
| Typical physical demands include: a high degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment, normal or corrected vision and hearing, exposure to communicable disease or body fluids, extensive standing and walking, working under stressful conditions and some irregular hours, handling and lifting patients, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or employees throughout CCAD and lift up to 50 lbs. |
