Regional School District No. 7 is seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education/Health Teacher (044 Physical Education PK to 12 and 043 Health endorsement required) to join our dedicated team at Northwestern Regional High School.

What You'll Do

• Deliver Engaging Instruction: Create and teach sequential, age-appropriate lessons in fitness, motor skills, team/individual sports, and essential health topics such as nutrition, mental health, and substance-use prevention in alignment with our curriculum
• Assess Student Progress: Conduct ongoing assessments, including the Connecticut Physical Fitness Assessment, to support student growth and celebrate achievements.
• Champion Inclusion: Adapt lessons and activities to ensure all students:  including those requiring Adapted PE, can participate safely and meaningfully.
• Foster a Safe, Positive Environment: Maintain well-organized gym and outdoor spaces, ensure equipment safety, and promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect.
