Fractional Controller (Independent Contractor)
Location: 8200 Port Rd, Louisville, KY 40258
Schedule: On-site approximately 10 hours per week

Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Fractional Controller to provide financial oversight and ensure the accuracy and consistency of our accounting operations. This individual will serve as an independent contractor, working closely with leadership to manage reporting, analyze results, and strengthen internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee general ledger accuracy and month-end close activities

  • Review financial statements and prepare management reports

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

  • Establish and refine accounting procedures and internal controls

  • Coordinate with external accounting and tax professionals

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including controller-level responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
