What We’re Looking For:
Compassionate and patient individuals with strong communication skills and emotional resilience.
3 months of experience in a substance abuse setting desired; 2 years of work experience preferred. Education in a mental health-related field may substitute for experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid Class D driver’s license.
Crisis prevention and CPR training preferred; required within 90 days of hire.
Ability to assist with resident care, therapeutic activities, and behavior management in a safe and respectful manner.

What You Will Do:
In this role, you’ll work alongside clinical teams to support residents in our behavioral health facility. Your care and attentiveness help create a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment that improves quality of life for our clients and their families.
Assist with routine client care and therapeutic activities under clinician supervision.
Monitor resident behavior, de-escalate conflicts, and ensure a safe environment through regular security checks and support.
Facilitate and document participation in group and individual activities.
Establish therapeutic relationships with residents and families from admission through discharge.
Participate in resident transport, hygiene, and basic needs care with respect and compassion.
Respond appropriately to crises and emergencies using established policies and non-violent intervention techniques.
Maintain accurate documentation of observations and care delivered.
