Program Overview:

As a Residential Youth Advisor, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a safe, energetic, and positive environment for at-risk youth living in a residential program. Candidates will coach, mentor, and lead by example as they motivate and actively engage the youth throughout their day. You will be responsible for creating and implementing a dynamic and engaging program pertaining to life skills and social skills in the home and community, vocational and educational activities, and cultural awareness of recreational activities. The ideal candidate should be fun, energetic, while encouraging clients to make healthy life choices that promote independence and responsibility.

The best candidates will understand the unique challenges of our clients, while also remaining committed to the best health and well-being outcomes possible. If you are self-driven, patient, and empathetic – you should apply. MYSI seeks a caring and nurturing staff who empowers our youth in making the best life choices, while guiding youth toward self-reliance and accountability. Lastly, the ideal candidate values team collaboration and client input, recognizing both as critical to establishing trust and respect.
