Job Summary
This is a hands-on opportunity to develop practical skills in financial operations, gain exposure to budget preparation and internal documentation processes, and support key initiatives that contribute to our year-end readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Budget & Financial Support
- Assist in preparing and organizing schedules for the annual budget cycle.
- Help compile financial data and templates for use by department budget owners.
- Support the Controller and accounting team with mid-cycle updates and variance tracking.
Documentation & Controls
- Document accounting processes, checklists, and internal controls to support compliance and audit readiness.
- Assist in updating process maps and SOPs to align with current practices.
- Maintain a central repository of policies and templates.
File & Data Management
- Support the carry-forward of file structures and reference materials for year-end close and planning.
- Perform data clean-up and naming convention standardization in financial files.
- Help reconcile versioning of key documents between departments.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in department meetings and contribute ideas for improving process clarity and structure.
- Collaborate with peers and mentors on ad hoc projects supporting finance and accounting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Junior/Senior standing preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and file organization best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a team environment.
