We're hiring a Recruitment Navigator — and if the title sounds a little different, that's intentional. This isn't a position for someone who wants to push candidates through a pipeline. It's for someone who wants to listen — deeply, intuitively — and help connect people to a purpose that matters.
What This Role Is Really About
At its heart, this role is about human connection. You'll be the first voice candidates hear from Wellspring, and often the most consistent one throughout their journey toward joining our team. You'll build trust with people at what can be a vulnerable, hopeful moment in their lives — a job search — and you'll shepherd them with honesty and warmth. You'll also be a trusted partner to our hiring managers, learning the nuances of what each team needs and helping translate that into meaningful matches. When the right person lands in the right role, you'll feel it. And so will the communities we serve.
This is a hybrid-remote position, and we're especially hoping to find someone rooted in the Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan. You must be a Michigan resident. Occasional travel to Wellspring locations around the state will be part of the rhythm, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Specifically, we're looking for someone who is:
- A natural connector — personable, engaging, and easy to talk to
- An intuitive listener who practices reflective, empathetic communication
- Quick to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong follow-through ethic
- Polished and precise in both written and verbal communication
A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with prior experience in recruiting, HR, or a people-facing role.
The Work You'll Do
You'll guide candidates from first hello to first day, managing multiple people across various stages of the hiring process with care and organization. You'll coordinate interviews, maintain our applicant tracking system, craft and refine screening questions, and collaborate across departments to keep our job postings current and compelling. You'll be a bridge — between candidates and hiring managers, between potential and opportunity.
And you'll do all of this as part of a recruitment marketing team that genuinely looks out for one another, meets regularly, and is committed to continuous improvement.
