Job Description

General Job Brief

Assist the Print Shop Manager and Operations Department in general duties as needed. This role also requires a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the unique Christian mission and vision of ACU to Transform Culture with Truth, and the ability to advance that mission and vision through the performance of its duties, including person-to-person mentorship and discipleship.

Duties, Tasks, Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and move office equipment, furniture, boxes, ACU material, grounds keeping. Other general duties as requested by Operations/Print Shop.
  • General Printing 2x a week 

Prerequisite Qualifications

  • Ability to lift, transport, and move office furnishings, boxes, and equipment; other building and grounds maintenance as needed.
  • Consistently demonstrated commitment to following Jesus Christ.
  • Committed to the mission and values of ACU and agreement with ACU's statement of faith and core commitments.
  • Displays clear pride and passion for ACU while representing the university in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Organized, proactive, efficient, self-sufficient, problem-solver, positive attitude, knowledgeable about resources and policies that exist at ACU.

Requirement

  • Needs to be an ACU student in good standing.
  • Complete a FAFSA

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completing other duties and tasks with utmost integrity and professionalism, as directed, and not necessarily mentioned in this description, will be expected.
  • Commitment to the University’s faith statement, mission, and purposes; and an active Christian faith.
  • Comfort and familiarity with the practice of praying with and for others, including students, faculty, and fellow University staff.
  • The ability to meaningfully support and encourage students, faculty, and staff from a biblical worldview perspective, using relevant and applicable references from the Old and New Testaments and orthodox Christian writings
  • Demonstrated alignment with and enthusiastic support for the Christian Mission and Core Commitments of the University, including signing the University's Statement of Faith and Core Commitments annually.

Time Required

20 hours a week during the school year only. Summer work not available.
