- Define and own the IT Governance Framework, ensuring consistent standards, policies, and methodologies across Global IT.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and continual improvement of ITSM processes (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB/Asset, Knowledge, Service Catalogue, Event, etc.).
- Establish IT process management methodology including process documentation standards, controls, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Lead maturity assessments and drive continual improvement initiatives based on findings and business needs.
- Manage external consulting firms (RFPs, project oversight, value realization) for audits, gap analyses, and advisory services.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to ensure governance is embedded in daily operations and supported by leadership.
- Enable process owners and teams through coaching, knowledge sharing, and improvement workshops.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, SOX/ITGC).
- Support tool-related governance (e.g., ITSM platforms: ServiceNow, Bee4IT, Jira Service Management, LeanIX, etc.).
- Facilitate executive-level communication, producing governance reports, dashboards, and decision-making materials.
- Utilize AI for productivity increase, own and the IT team, including automation and generative workloads.
Experience that matters: Your Skills
- 7+ years of experience in IT governance, ITSM, IT process management, or related roles.
- Direct experience working in or supporting large enterprises (5,000+ employees; ideally 10,000+).
- Strong background in ITIL (v3 or v4) with proven hands-on experience implementing ITSM processes.
- Experience establishing governance frameworks and driving adoption across distributed global teams.
- Demonstrated solid understanding of enterprise IT operations, service management tools, and process measurement frameworks.
- Management of external consulting partners, including audits, maturity assessments, and strategy engagements.
- Experience with AI and automation is an advantage.
- ITIL 4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader is an advantage.
- Lean 6 Sigma certification is an advantage.
- ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001 familiarity.
- PMP, PRINCE2 and Agile certifications (nice to have).
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management, able to influence without authority.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex frameworks into practical guidance.
- Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented while keeping a holistic view of the IT landscape.
- Proactive and self-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Skilled facilitator, capable of leading workshops, governance boards, and cross-team alignment sessions.
- High integrity and professionalism, especially in audit or compliance contexts.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, multicultural environment.
