Senior Sales Executive

As we deliver our ambitious
2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for a Senior Sales Executive to work
closely with customers and deliver growth through the sales of Personal Care raw
materials. 

Reporting into the Sector Sales Manager for Personal Care, you will develop
& maintain profitable sales for Personal care business in the Northern region
of the country Negotiate the best possible commercial agreements with customers.

Who We’re Looking For: 

  • Degree qualified in Chemical or Cosmetic engineering.
  • Proven experience and understanding of personal Care ingredients.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills to be able to represent Croda.
  • Works well in a team and interact effectively with others.
  • Records data accurately CRM applications.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Developing new business by identifying potential sales opportunities and following up on new leads and sample requests.
  • Negotiating the best achievable commercial agreements and developing and implementing short-term plans for product sales to achieve sales plans/targets in line with business, marketing, and pricing policies.
  • Reporting promptly on business (C4C reports) in the designated market, identifying threats or opportunities as they arise, and implementing improvement plans within own area.
  • Carrying out activities such as new business development, new product promotion, and evaluating market applications of products.
  • Visiting customers to explain, promote, and recommend Croda products, providing technical support within designated markets and regions, and coordinating projects and development work with customers.
  • Liaising with all necessary functions to ensure all requirements are fulfilled from order receipt to cash collection.
  • Updating accurate sales forecasts on a regular basis, correcting whenever the outlook changes based on external/internal conditions.
  • Ensuring all customer issues/complaints are resolved within the relevant systems and communicating responses back to customers.
  • Assisting in the promotion of new and existing products by undertaking marketing projects and conducting bulk trials, as directed by sales management.
  • Operating in a role with no line management responsibility.

Additional Information


This is a hybrid role, will have to work from the head office in Mumbai initially for a period of 6 months, then be based in our Noida sales office.
