Patient Account Collections Manager | Full-time | Remote

At H2 Health, we know that effective collections management is essential to maintaining a healthy revenue cycle that supports patient care. We are looking for a skilled Patient Account Collections Manager to lead our collections team, ensuring the highest level of performance in resolving accounts receivable while cultivating a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Your Role:

As the Patient Account Collections Manager, you will oversee all aspects of collections operations, from developing strategies for improvement to ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.

  • Lead and mentor the collections team, providing training and support to enhance skills and performance.
  • Develop and implement collections strategies to minimize days sales outstanding (DSO) and maximize collections.
  • Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and identify trends for proactive account management.
  • Monitor collections metrics and performance indicators, and report results to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address billing discrepancies, patient inquiries, and payer issues.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements related to patient accounts.
  • Evaluate and improve collections processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain positive relationships with patients, fostering trust and communication throughout the collections process.
