Job Title:  Assistant Director of Bands

Assistant Director of Bands 


 


 


Robinson ISD is currently seeking an energetic teacher with a solid pedagogical background, superb performance ability, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic to join the Pride of the Blue Band staff.


 


Qualifications:


• 3 or more years of teaching experience preferred

• Exemplary student-centered personality

• Strong beginner pedagogy

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated

 

Position


• Conduct and teach a UIL performing ensemble at Robinson Junior High School

• Teach 2 beginner sections at Robinson Intermediate in homogeneous classes

• Active involvement in all aspects of the band program

 


Robinson ISD is a 4A community located southeast of Waco.  The Robinson Band program includes 450 students across three campuses. The Robinson Band staff has a team-teaching philosophy in all aspects of the program 6-12. The Pride of the Blue Marching Band was a 2023 & 2024 State Marching Contest participant and won class 1A at the BOA Super Regional in San Antonio in 2018. The Robinson Symphonic Band was named the TMEA 3A Honor Band in 2014. The Robinson Band program is a storied program of UIL Sweepstakes and is a 4 time State Marching Band Champion.
