POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Pickerington Local School District seeks qualified applicants for a full time Adapted Physical Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
This position will serve the entire district and has the same work calendar and pay scale as a certified teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ohio certificate/license Special All Grades (K-12) Physical Education; Adapted Physical Education
• At least three (3) years of successful teaching experience preferred
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEP) of qualifying students in relation to physical education
• Ability to provide instruction and to assist with inclusion into regular physical education programs in accordance with state standards in adapted physical education
• Experience working well with students with learning disabilities, staff and diverse populations
• Must be properly certified.
