Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Contract (Inpatient Services)

Location: Dayton General Hospital – Rehabilitation Department, Dayton, WA

Contracted: Per Diem, Weekend On-Call 

Compensation: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Rehab team. Qualifications

  • Active Washington State Occupational Therapist Assistant License
  • BLS certification every 2 years
     

Key Responsibilities – Inpatient Services

  • Carry outpatient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Document patient care accurately and on time according to facility standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, therapists, and the care team.
  • Monitor patient status and report changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
  • Assist with evaluating patient abilities and supporting goal‑directed therapeutic activities.
  • Submit accurate billing information and support department operations as needed.
  • Follow safe practices to minimize exposure to potential hazards.
