Full Time - Institutional Research Data Analyst
The Blinn College District is searching for a Full Time - Institutional Research Data Analyst at our Brenham Campus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below:
Job Summary
To analyze data, generate reports and visualizations
on Business Intelligence platforms based on data from the student information
system, assessment processes and outcomes, and other data sources that provide
a basis for effective institutional planning, decision making, and strategic
management.
Principal Accountabilities
information system and other sources to perform statistical analyses and
meet external reporting requirements (e.g., THECB, IPEDS, SACSCOC).
from surveys, student information system, and other sources (e.g.,
assessment results, etc.) using descriptive (e.g., averages,
percentages, etc.) and inferential (e.g., t-test, regression, etc.)
statistics.
relevant parties within the College to facilitate decision making and
support institutional effectiveness processes (e.g., program review,
continuous improvement, strategic planning, etc.) using narrative,
tables, and graphs as appropriate.
evaluations and other surveys using online survey tool; generate survey
reports using online tool.
of data prior to dissemination.
software tools related to data reporting and analysis (e.g., Argos and
MS Excel).
development of key performance indicators for the College based on
strategic objectives and other considerations; maintain key performance
indicators ensuring up to date information.
visualizations on business intelligence platforms (PowerBI, Tableau,
etc.).
conferences and other learning platforms to enhance knowledge of the
higher education and Institutional Research industry.

Yearly leave time includes:
