Overview Garmin Canada has a exciting opportunity for a recruitment marketing specialist. This position will partner closely with Human Resources to attract and retain top talent through innovative recruitment strategies, social media campaigns, and community outreach. Coordinate sponsorship programs, promotional events, vendor relationships, and marketing content while helping to showcase company culture, products and career opportunities across multiple platforms. Provide administrative and creative support for various marketing initiatives, including budget management, content development, and visual asset creation. Essential Functions: Partner with Human Resources to develop and implement innovative strategies to attract, engage and retain top talent Build and create a repository of content, resources and assets in support of an overall recruitment strategy Manage the community sponsorship program including evaluating inquiries, ordering products and budget allocation Provide coordination and logistics support for a variety of promotional events and attend when required Showcase company culture, product announcements and job opportunities on social media Participate in and/or oversee various committees Build and maintain vendor relationships Occasionally create graphics and visuals using online design tools and templates to support various marketing responsibilities Maintain marketing budgets Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in marketing, and/or communications Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and demonstrated ability to learn new software and systems Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (predominantly Adobe Illustrator and InDesign) Keen eye for detail and demonstrated experience on various creative projects Positive, detail and quality-oriented team player with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills; able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
