Lead a High-Performing Parts Department

Rydell Chevrolet is seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department in Waterloo, Iowa.

This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands how to build a productive, organized, and profitable operation. We are looking for a strong leader who values accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and customer service.

What You’ll Do

As the Automotive Parts Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, performance, and profitability of the Parts Department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the parts team
  • Ensuring excellent service for internal and external customers
  • Managing inventory accuracy and organization
  • Overseeing parts ordering, receiving, pricing, and merchandising
  • Monitoring department profitability and performance metrics
  • Maintaining efficient workflow and operational standards
  • Managing delivery and logistics processes
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Building a positive, professional team culture
  • Representing Rydell Chevrolet with professionalism and integrity

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of Automotive Parts Manager experience
  • Proven success managing a high-performing parts department
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and process management
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred:

  • Automotive parts sales experience
  • Experience with dealership inventory systems and controls
