Position Title: In Home Caregiver

Reports To: Home Care Director
General Description
Home Care Staff perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to, housekeeping, laundry, and meeting the needs of our clients in compliance with Snyder Village policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities, Duties and Authority
- Duties include, but are not limited to: housekeeping, laundry, attendant, homemaker services, and companion care and transportation services.
- Observes clients’ physical condition, attitude, reaction, etc. Report any changes.
- Performs all assigned duties in accordance with established policies and procedures, safety rules and regulations.
- Adheres to sanitary, safety and infection control procedures for washing, drying, storage and handling of materials and equipment.
- Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis.
- Gives on the job training for new staff members
- Maintains confidentiality of all clients/ residents’
- Observes resident’s rights
- Valid Driver’s License and maintains liability and collision insurance.
- Performs other and related duties as assigned
- Attends in-services and department meetings
