We are seeking dedicated and flexible Substitute Teachers to join our team. Substitute Teachers play a vital role in ensuring that learning continues seamlessly when classroom teachers are absent.

Responsibilities

Provide meaningful instruction to scholars in accordance with lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.

Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment aligned with ARLCS’s culture and values.

Manage classroom behavior using proactive strategies and district policies.

Adapt to various grade levels and subject areas as needed.

Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records.

Communicate effectively with staff and scholars to ensure academic continuity.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree or Arkansas teaching license preferred).

Prior experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Flexibility, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
