 As our (medior) Software Engineer, you will:

  • Translate various requirements of satellite telecommunication systems into architectures
  • Be involved in the complete development cycle of telecommunication software (protocols and applications): analysis, design, coding, test automation and bug fixing
  • Follow up whether your solutions are in line with the original defined architecture and requirements
  • Document your architecture, code, solutions and test cases
  • Work closely with other developers, Linux system engineers, quality assurance engineers around the globe
  • Aspire towards a thorough understanding of satellite communication technologies and components

 

As a prerequisite to become our (medior) Software Engineer you:

  • Hold a degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Are especially experienced in C/C++ and the Linux operating system.
  • Have detailed knowledge of TCP/IP protocol family.
  • Have at least practical experience in two of the following: Cellular Networks, Metro Ethernet, Scripting Languages, Linux command line tools, automated software validation
  • Enjoy learning and familiarizing yourself with demanding topics.
  • Are fluent in English and German, other languages are considered an asset.
  • Are interested in the world of satellite communications

 

Once on board you will:

  • Be part of our expert team based in our Berlin offices working on challenging projects
  • Grow in technical and interpersonal competence through a wide array of challenges and in close collaboration with international colleagues
  • Work for a high-tech industry leader with limited management layers that stimulates ownership and initiative
