    Greenwich Public Schools seeks Grades K-5 teachers for its 2026 Summer School program.

    • The Elementary Summer School will be located at New Lebanon Elementary School, and will run from July 6 through August 13, Mondays through Thursdays. Grades K-5 teachers will work 8:15-11:15 a.m., which includes 30 minutes of planning time. An additional preparation day will occur, date to be determined.
    • Grades K-5 teachers must be certified to teach students in grades K-5. Preference will be given to teachers with experience as a literacy and/or mathematics interventionist.
    • Compensation for all hours will be at the individual teacher's hourly per diem rate as based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Education Association.
    • Positions are dependent on student enrollment.
    • Preference will be given to Greenwich Public Schools teachers contracted for the 2026-27 school year, and then to other Greenwich Public Schools benefits-eligible employees.
