Part-Time Nurse - Pool

We are now accepting applications for a qualified Part-Time Nurse - Pool at Belmont University.

Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
 

The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of nursing procedures. The hours for this position are variable and may change based on seasonal need.

  • Admit patients to the clinic, performing various tasks such as vital signs, history taking, etc.
  • Administer allergy shots, vaccines, other injectables.
  • Assist with special vaccine clinics, Initiate intravenous therapy.
  • Phlebotomy and processing of lab specimens, including requisite daily interaction with VPLS, Order medical supplies, restock exam rooms and other duties as assigned.
  • Perform procedures such as dressing changes, ear irrigations, suture removal, etc. Perform CLIA-waived testing.
  • Assist with wellness programming.

  • Flexibility of schedule
  • Computer skills preferred - Word & Excel

Required EducationCurrent Tennessee license CPR certification
  
Required ExperienceRegistered nurse with experience in clinic or office setting preferred
