What will you do? What are we looking for? 

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate React JS Lead to spearhead the development of our cutting-edge front-end applications. In this pivotal role, you will provide technical leadership, mentor a team of talented React developers, and drive the architectural decisions for our user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional and scalable web experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of React JS developers.
  • Drive architectural decisions and establish best practices for front-end development.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex and scalable React JS applications.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-tested, and performant code.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering their technical growth.
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups and prototypes into functional code.
  • Work with backend engineers to define and integrate APIs seamlessly.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve the development process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues.
  • Contribute to the planning and estimation of development tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in React JS and front-end development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a lead or senior role, providing technical guidance to a team.
  • Deep understanding of React JS principles, component lifecycle, and state management (e.g., Redux, Context API, Zustand).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with modern front-end build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Next.js or other React frameworks.
  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG).
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for React applications.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Contributions to open-source React projects.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 33,000

Maximum Compensation: USD 118,000

Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
