- Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
- Maintains discipline and enforces regulations when students are on bus.
- Reports undisciplined students to the proper authority.
- Keeps assigned bus clean.
- Checks bus before each operation for mechanical defects.
- Notifies the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness.
- Keeps to assigned schedule.
- Discharges students only at authorized stops.
- Exercises responsible leadership when on out of district school trips.
- Reports all accidents and completes required reports.
- Performs evacuation drills twice yearly.
- Annual training consisting of not less than (6) hours
- DOT physical examination every two years, more frequent if required by Physician
- Take drug and alcohol testing as required.

PAY RATE: $18.16/hour (3 hour a day)

As a substitute, your schedule can be flexible and meet your own individual work needs. An automated substitute system helps you manage your work schedule by allowing you to pick up assignments any time, day or night.
Purpose: Drives bus to transport students over specified routes according to time schedule. Complies with traffic regulations.
Essential Functions:
Requirements: CDL with a P and S endorsement (training is available to acquire CDL)
