Extended School Year (ESY) Program

Summer Learning

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: ESY is an all-inclusive special education program provided after the school year ends. Students will work on skills related to IEP goals and objectives and work towards slowing the regression of skills that happen over the summer months. The inclusion of general education teachers, special educators, related service providers and paraprofessionals make the program more robust and enriches the students who attend. 

DATES: June 29 - July 2

              July 6 - July 9

              July 13 - July 16

LOCATION: Hinsdale

TIME: Staff - 8:00 AM to 1 PM

Pre-K - 12 -   8:30 AM to 12:30 AM

STAFFING NEEDED:

Certified Classroom Teachers

Certified Special Education Teachers

School Counselor & Social Worker

Occupational Therapist

Speech and Language Pathologist

Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant

Paraeducators

Nurse

Clerical

Qualifications: Appropriate Certifications required depending on the position.

Working Conditions:  Per Union Contracts
