As the Emergency Department Unit Coordinator at MCH, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Emergency Department. Your commitment to detail, organization, and compassionate patient care will make a meaningful impact. Here's an overview of your key responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

 

  • Patient Support: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing compassionate and helpful assistance with scheduling, inquiries, and information dissemination.
  • Administrative Efficiency: Manage office operations, including appointment scheduling, patient records, and office supplies. Maintain accurate and organized documentation.
  • Communication Hub: Facilitate communication between patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring clear and timely information flow.
  • Billing and Insurance: Assist patients with billing inquiries, insurance claims, and payment processing, ensuring transparency and patient satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with medical staff to support quality improvement initiatives and ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care.
  • Patient Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, addressing patient concerns and needs with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Empathetic nature and genuine commitment to patient well-being.
  • Proficiency in office software and electronic health record systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Valid New Hampshire state licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant.

Salary:

Competitive salary based on experience.

Working Hours:

This is a 24 hour per week position - varied shift
