 About the Role:
Join Amazing Athletes of San Diego as a Preschool Athletics Coach and inspire young children to develop their athletic skills in a fun and engaging environment. This role is perfect for energetic individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and sports.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate athletic curricular activities for preschool children.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • Assess and track individual progress in physical skills and confidence.
  • Engage with parents to provide periodic updates on their child's development.
  • Maintain a safe and organized play area for all activities.
  • Collaborate with other coaches to enhance program offerings and events.
  • Promote the importance of physical fitness and healthy habits among preschoolers.
  • Attend training sessions and team meetings to improve coaching techniques.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in a coaching or educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage young learners.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Updated basic vaccinations.
  • Pass Live Scan background check. 
  • Passion for sports and physical education with a focus on fun and safety.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor.
  • Background in child development or related field is a plus.
  • Early Childhood Education Units a HUGE plus.
