About the Role


 


AECC is experiencing significant growth in line with the time changes for students and our university and college partners around the world. As we expand our global footprint, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Admissions Officer based in Nepal who will be responsible for assessing applications according to our eligibility criteria. 




What Does This Opportunity Mean for You


 



  • Determines admissibility, transferability of credit, and residency for new and readmitted undergraduate students; classifies and places students into appropriate academic units.

  • Visits schools and colleges, participate in events ,speaks to groups and individual students, and meets with school officials to develop partnerships between the University and other institutions throughout the state; coordinates community workshops, retreats, and on-site admissions programs.

  • Advises students/counselors and families regarding educational opportunities and options through course providers portals, admission and other requirements, policies and procedures, transfer of credit, and financial assistance, as appropriate.

  • Contributes to the institutional database of prospective/potential and current students in the state.

  • Analyzes trends in student recruitment and retention programs; designs and implements recruitment programs for targeted groups of potential students, and develops strategies for program evaluation.

  • Creates and distributes a range of resource and promotional materials designed for the recruitment and retention of targeted groups.

  • Prepares reports and oppurtunitties, update CRM as per all tasks and responds to inquiries from students and external agencies.

  • Develops operating goals and objectives for the unit; implements and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations, as appropriate to the unit.

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by management.


Skills and Attributes Required


 



  • 3-4 years of proven experience as an Admission Officer in the Education Consultancy Industry or similar

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
