Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate works on our warehouse floor as part of our Inventory team, executing inventory control and movement procedures, receiving incoming inventory into our ERP system, and completing Operations projects as directed by the Inventory Supervisor or Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Receive incoming inventory into our inventory management system (IMS).

  • Accurately put inventory back to stock as needed.

  • Execute inventory control procedures (including cycle counts)

  • Move inventory inside of the warehouse as needed by various departments.

  • Complete inventory projects and initiatives.

METRICS 

  • Accurate reception of inventory into our system.

  • Completing product movement and control following established procedures.

  • Completion of projects within timeline and scope, under direction of the Inventory Supervisor or Operations Manager. 

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing in English.

  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish is advantageous.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

  • Occasional reaching/working overhead, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

  • Frequent walking, occasional standing, typing, and repetitive hand tool use.

  • Lifting requirements include occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds), frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds), and continuous lifting (up to 10 pounds).

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY 

  • Introductory Review – Conducted approximately 80 days after employment to assess initial performance and fit.

  • Monthly Reviews – Focused on quantitative performance and activity metrics. 

  • Annual Reviews – Formal annual evaluation of productivity, accuracy, and contribution to department goals.

 WORK SCHEDULE

  • Location: Fully on-site at office in Raleigh, NC

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. 8:30AM-5:30PM schedule available on approval. Up to 40 hours per week and/or overtime opportunity available if approved by the Senior Manager - Operations.

  • Transportation: Must be able to confirm and commit to reliable transportation to the office and consistent attendance during all scheduled working days and hours.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates primarily in a warehouse environment. Team members may be exposed to moderate variations in temperature depending on seasonal conditions. The workspace includes the use of powered industrial trucks (PITs), compressed air systems, and various test and repair equipment. Noise levels are typically moderate but may increase during certain repair or testing activities. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required when applicable to ensure a safe and compliant work area.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $19.00-20.00 per hour, based on job-related skills, experience, and education.
