The Peninsula Bangkok, a prestigious five-star luxury property situated along the scenic Chao Phraya River, is seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s comprehensive computer systems across all departments, providing vital technical assistance, and ensuring every team can fully leverage our technology to deliver world-class service.

Key Responsibilities

• System Continuity & Expertise: Maintain the reliability of all installed systems while providing both technical and business-related expertise.
• Platform Support: Serve as the primary support lead for all Property Management Systems (PMS) and their various interfaces.
• Operational Management: Manage day-to-day IT operations and lead future projects to enhance the hotel's technological infrastructure.
• Maintenance & Documentation: Oversee primary support, system maintenance, upgrades, and the thorough documentation of all IT processes.
• Strategic Collaboration: Liaise closely with the Director of Information Technology before performing any significant system modifications.
• Project Lifecycle: Participate in the design, planning, testing, and implementation phases of all major IT projects.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure the network remains secure and virus-free by managing workstation status, updating virus definitions, and ensuring all software patches are current.
• User Training: Conduct and coordinate orientation and training sessions for staff to optimize the utilization of hotel computer systems.
• Data Integrity: Manage data file backups, ensuring that daily backups are successfully completed and securely stored.
• Hardware Management: Monitor and coordinate the delivery and release of hardware sent for external repairs.
• Systems Evaluation: Assist the Director of Information Technology in evaluating and recommending products to improve the management and operation of all network systems.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Communication: Strong proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems, general software applications, and specialized hotel management software.
• Experience: Proven technical expertise in managing complex network environments.
