The Butts County School System is now accepting applications for a Health and Physical Education (PE) teacher for SY 2026-2027 at Jackson High School. (Head Basketball Coach)

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
GA PSC Certified (or eligible for certification) in Health/PE
Applicants must be willing to coach 2 sports assigned at the discretion of the district (supplement available)
 

NOTE: At least three professional references are REQUIRED.  Please provide valid email addresses on your application when providing reference information.  A reference from your current immediate supervisor is required.

Selection Procedure: 
Applicants who are selected for an interview will be contacted to arrange an appointment. 
Preference will be given to all applicants who meet both the minimum and preferred qualifications. 
Applicants who are not selected for an interview will not receive notification.
 

Butts County is located just 45 miles south of Atlanta and approximately the same distance north of Macon.  We are located just minutes east of I-75.
