Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Modify or create implementation documents, applying standard landscape architectural techniques and procedures according to written and verbal specifications with general supervision
• Collaborate on design and technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project
• Assist in preparing client presentations and present project design intent
• Perform product research; assist project designers with material selection and system research
• Support research of code and zoning requirements
• Attend on-site visits, field reviews, and client and/or project meetings and document these visits as appropriate
• Assist in preparing schedules and review implementation documents and samples as needed
• Communicate with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to incorporate information into design, project requirements, and documents as needed
• Provide guidance and direction to entry-level staff as appropriate
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues, and coordination with other disciplines

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Landscape Architecture, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Design Intern, Landscape Designer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 2 years with the following:

• Landscape Design;
• Adobe suite such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Powerpoint;
• 3D Modeling / Rendering Software such as Lumion and Enscape;
• Creating Architectural Drawings such as Plans, Site Plans, Elevations, Sections, and Axonometrics; 
• Drafting / Modeling in documentation software such as AutoCAD and Revit; and
• Utilizing Sketchup and Rhino
