The South Amboy School District has the following openings for the 2025-2026 school year.

SUBSTITUTE PARAPROFESSIONALS

**Up-to 29 hours per week**

REQUIREMENTS: 

• County Substitute License Required

• Applicants without any of the above credentials must have at least

  60 college credits in order to apply for a County Substitute License

OR

Paraprofessional Pro Test Preferred

OR

30 college credits.  Applicants must be enrolled in college or university at the time of application. Verification of enrollment is required.  Applicants must be at least 20 years of age. 

• Fingerprinting is required for criminal history background clearance

• Physical exam required

• Rate of Pay $110/ per full day

Applications must be submitted at Applitrack. Emailed applications will not be accepted. 

Selection process will continue until a candidate is appointed.  Appointment is at the discretion of the South Amboy Board of Education.  If, and when, an appointment is made, appropriate staff will be notified.
