$40.00/hr for Certified or $20.00/hr for Classified

JOB PURPOSE: The Afterschool Academic Tutor will support Yupiit School District in providing tutoring for students.


This position is grant funded, and there is a possibility that it will not be funded or available after the Term of Service.


 


Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities



  • Must pass a background

  • Provide afterschool tutoring and academic assistance for students

  • Maintain accurate records for student participation, including student sign-in sheets and staff time and effort sheets.


 


Qualifications:



  1. Strong communication skills. (Required)

  2. Able to connect will to students of all ages. (Required)

  3. Ability to understand basic reading, math, and Language Arts

  4. Ability to work well without direct supervision, as well as in a team

  5. Ability to cultivate and maintain good relationships with a variety of different

  6. Self-managing, flexible, adaptable, enjoys challenge (Required)
