Job Description
  • Senior Engineer - Quality Engineering, with Finance domain having 6 - 10 years of experience will possess advanced expertise in key areas essential for the role within MASTERCARD TECHNOLOGIES.
  • Proficiency in REST API development is crucial, allowing the candidate to design and implement robust APIs that facilitate seamless integration with various systems.
  • A strong command of Selenium and Playwright is expected for automated testing of web applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery through effective script writing and maintenance.
  • The candidate should demonstrate an advanced understanding of Java and the Spring framework, enabling the creation of scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Experience with JUnit and REST Assured for writing and executing tests is vital for ensuring the functionality and reliability of RESTful services.
  • Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats is necessary for data serialization and deserialization during API testing and integration.
  • Candidates should also possess knowledge of automation frameworks and tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, and JMeter to support continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • An understanding of Agile methodologies will enable the candidate to participate effectively in iterative development cycles and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • The expertise in integration testing and functional testing (FT) will facilitate thorough verification of integrated components and the overall system functionality.
  • Additionally, experience in automation testing and test execution is essential for streamlining the testing process and enhancing efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be needed to troubleshoot issues and optimize test scripts.
  • A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering or a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Software Engineering is required to provide the foundational knowledge necessary for this role.
  • Certifications such as Certified Software Tester (CSTE) and ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level are preferred and will further validate the candidate’s skills and commitment to the profession.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps principles and practices is good to have.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing fundamentals is also preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
