Position summary: JMT is searching for a results-oriented Business Development Specialist to help grow our Buildings and Facilities business line focused on multidisciplinary services of architecture, interiors, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structures, construction management, site design, and other JMT solutions. The selected candidate will assist with driving new business to the company through relationship-building, creativity, and strategic thinking.

Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Drive new business by building relationships not only with outside customers but within the company.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
  • Work with the team to implement effective campaigns that market our solutions and services.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities.
  • Track Business Development Opportunities using CRM software.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Conduct presentations, pitches, and proposals to potential clients.
  • Execute and participate in operations for conferences, events, etc.
  • Track and report on business development activities, performance, and results.
