Location: 5100 W. JB Hunt Drive, Rogers, AR 72758 

Position requires availability Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with additional hours as needed.

SUMMARY: Under the limited supervision of the assigned manager, the Commercial Processor coordinates the initial transaction process. The incumbent reviews contracts, orders corresponding documentation, and provides information to customers/title offices.   The Commercial Processor assists the Commercial Agent(s) by working directly with customers involved in each transaction to coordinate the closing of the transaction in an accurate, timely and professional manner while ensuring that the title company and lender requirements are properly met.  The Commercial Processor will prepare files for closing, prepare documents and disburse and balance the file. Additionally, the incumbent must develop customer relationships by delivering knowledgeable and personalized service at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Coordinate the initial transaction process by entering orders, assigning files to an agent and reviewing documentation. Determine if any additional documentation is needed, place orders for documents and follow-up with customers.
  2. Determine what requirements must be met before closing by analyzing the title insurance commitments, real estate contract, escrow instructions and lender requirements.
  3. Assist the Commercial Agent(s) by coordinating closings with the customers. Explain documents to customers as questions arise.
  4. Prepare the Commercial Settlement Statement and closing documents for each file. This excludes the preparation of any legal documentation.
  5. Review the closing documents for accuracy, disburse closing funds and balance the file.
  6. Deliver funds and payoffs when directed by the Closing Agent.
  7. Coordinate the “title only” file process, including National Business/Commercial Services orders sent directly from underwriters. Ensure documents are received and recorded timely and that invoices (for title premiums, recording fees, etc.) are sent and payments are received within established timelines. Check for accuracy on remittance premiums paid and any premium splits paid to other agency offices.
  8. Develop new and existing customer relationships by attending community events to promote WACO and delivering personalized, knowledgeable service that will encourage repeat business. 
  9. May prepare title policies. 
  10. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1-2 years previous closing processing experience required
  • 1 year previous customer service experience required
  • Licensed Notary Public (or ability to obtain within 90 days) required
  • Previous title experience preferred

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to make deliveries and/or pickups for the company.
